But enough about that. What have I seen in the world these days. Nikon brought out a new camera. I got a new Nikon D7000, only because my D90 stopped autofocusing. I really don't know why. I really love TradeMe. I've started a new business. It's called AME. It stands for Apple Made Easy. It's a bit slow. But that's how I want it to be at the moment. I really don't have the time to spend too much time on it. But I love it. Kruger is the other executive. We do a lot of support work, home installations, classes, and just at home consultations. It's what I love.
Friends have come and gone. Jono has gone on his mission to Argentina; I'm so proud of him. He's doing so well, but then again, he'll always do well anywhere.
Fraser is good, he cut his arm quite severely a few weeks ago, I guess it's about a month now. At first, we were all worried, but he's a trooper. He's healing faster than anything.
Rory of course, is having a great time. One thing that I really respect about Rory is his ability to enjoy life. He works hard for everything, yet, he conjures up the spirit to smile through it.
Chris is down in Dunedin studying so hard. It's an absolute blast of a time when I do get to see him. It's times like this when you see how precious the time is together with your closest friends. Do I miss it? Heck yes. But we cannot stay stationary in a moving world.
Becky, Dazzy and Louise are doing well as well. They just had their ball. They looked amazing! I was so honoured to take pictures of their pre-ball. Too bad the lighting was really bad the .NEF/RAW files were really hard to edit without creating so much noise in the picture. But still, they were beautiful. And I must say, one person did seem to catch my attention the most......
I have to mention another person who has been on my mind. He's a recent friend, but it just seems like a special one. He brings out the essence and beauty of friendship. Not just 'friendship', but 'fellowship'. He's one of the most intelligent people I know. He has a wit about him that I just can't pass. I hope for the best for him, he deserves it.
Family. I must say, something that I haven't mentioned in my past posts. There has been one thing that I have noticed. Maybe it's just me, but do we take our family for granted? Now lets think of this. If your best friend asked you to do something, sure, you'll do it, but if a family member asked, what's the first thought? "Oh its okay, they're just family, they'll understand." They sure will understand, they will always, but do they deserve it? Your friends grow up with you while your family grow old. Keep that in mind. Love and cherish your family.
Well I guess that's that then. Till next time..... PEACE
Song of the Day:
Go The Distance - Michael Bolton
(From Hercules)

Lyrics:
I have often dreamed
Of a far-off place
Where a hero's welcome
Will be waiting for me
Where the crowds will cheer
When they see my face
And a voice keeps saying
This is where I'm meant to be
I'll be there someday
I can go the distance
I will find my way
If I can be strong
I know ev'ry mile
Will be worth my while
When I go the distance
I'll be right where I belong
Down an unknown road
To embrace my fate
Though that road may wander
It will lead me to you
And a thousand years
Would be worth the wait
It might take a lifetime
But somehow I'll see it through
And I won't look back
I can go the distance
And I'll stay on track
No, I won't accept defeat
It's an uphill slope
But I won't lose hope
Till I go the distance
And my journey is complete
But to look beyond the glory is the hardest part
A hero's strength is measured by his heart
Ooooooooooooooooooo
Like a shooting star
I will go the distance
I will search the world
I will face its heart
I dont care how far
I can go the distance
Till I find my heros welcome
Waiting In your arms
I will search the world
I will face its harms
Till I find mt hero's welcome
Waiting in your arms
Of a far-off place
Where a hero's welcome
Will be waiting for me
Where the crowds will cheer
When they see my face
And a voice keeps saying
This is where I'm meant to be
I'll be there someday
I can go the distance
I will find my way
If I can be strong
I know ev'ry mile
Will be worth my while
When I go the distance

Though that road may wander

And a thousand years

It might take a lifetime
But somehow I'll see it through
And I won't look back
